World Expo 2025 Osaka: AtomTrace taking place among the very first partners of the Czech participation
On Thursday, November 30, 2023, a pre-Christmas meeting of partners and supporters of the Czech participation in the World Expo 2025, Osaka, Japan took place at Charles University in the historic premises of Karolinum. Over 200 representatives from the academic sector, Czech and Japanese companies, and the state and public spheres attended the event. The gathering marked a significant milestone – 500 days until the start of the World Expo scheduled to take place in Osaka, Japan, in 2025.
Before the official program began, Ondřej Soška, the Commissioner General of Czech participation, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the very first partners of the Czech participation in the World Expo 2025, Osaka, Japan, namely with the City of Brno, the Czech-Japanese Society and the company AtomTrace, represented by its founder, shareholder and CEO, Jan Proček.
Throughout the evening, among the following speakers Milena Králíčková, the Rector of Charles University, Ondřej Soška, the Commissioner General of Czech participation in the World Expo EXPO 2025, his Excellency Hideo Suzuki, the Japanese Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Jiří Kozák, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the new Director General of Czech Centers, Jitka Pánek Jurková, Kateřina Jarošová, a councilor for the City of Brno and Miloš Šifalda, the Director of the South Moravian Centre for International Mobility, who is also a former councilor for education and international cooperation in the South Moravian Region and personally participated in EXPO 2005 in Aichi, Japan, Jan Proček took the stage and had his word to auditorium on exciting and promissing expectations from the World Expo 2025, Osaka, Japan AtomTrace attendance and partnership.
For AtomTrace, Japan represents a top-tier strategic global market that has been gradually and systematically openned by the company, step by step. Through the World Expo 2025, Osaka, Japan AtomTrace attendance and partnership the company plans to further deepen its collaboration with a key distributor and partner it acquired in Japan in 2023, the Tokyo Instruments company.
To kick off the informal part of the program, a sake barrel was broken, which is a traditional Japanese ritual often performed at festive or very special special occasions. The ritual is believed to bring health, success, and prosperity and so it is considered by the AtomTrace.
