„Doing Business in Japan“ 2023

Building on the momentum from our recent successful meeting with our Japanese distributor, our CSO – Michal Bohátka attended the esteemed “Doing Business in Japan 2023” seminar yesterday, October 2, 2023. Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan and held in the heart of Prague at the Parliament of the Czech Republic – Chamber of Deputies, this event marked another step in broadening our network and understanding of the Japanese market dynamics.

The event’s main goal was to inform Czech companies about Japanese business practices and help them to overview and enter the Japanese market. Distinguished speakers at the seminar included prominent figures such as:

Mr. Jan Bartošek – Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, who provided a unique perspective on the political and legislative aspects of Czech-Japanese relations.

Mr. Hideo Suzuki – Ambassador of Japan to the Czech Republic, highlighted the current economic situation of Japan and the diplomatic ties between the Czech Republic and Japan.

Mr. Go Shimuta – Representative Director, JETRO Prague, who drew from his extensive experience in promoting trade and investment between Japan and the Czech Republic.

Mr. Ondřej Soška – Czech Commissioner General (Expo 2025 Osaka), presented the Czech pavilion and encouraged attendees to explore opportunities related to the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka.

As the seminar concluded, attendees had the opportunity to interact, share ideas, and potentially establish new partnerships. This seminar allowed AtomTrace to establish new contacts, comprehend Japanese business norms better, and create strategies tailored to the demands and opportunities of the Japanese market.
